It's always a pain to learn a new format..........  or at least I find that it is for me. Often I feel as though I should have left the blogs, the forums and the websites to the younger generation and just been content to read what others provide. I now know how my father must have felt some 13 years ago when I thought he needed a computer at home to "surf the web". As you can imagine, the computer seldom got past the power up button let alone the log in screen. Today, I find the RSS feeds, the mobile apps and the "social networks" just as much of a pain to interact with as he must have felt using the log in screen. Oh well, I guess the old cliche the Air Force instilled in my impressionable "Bowl Of Mush", (as the drill sergeant used to refer as our brains), Onward and Upwards still prevails some 40 years later. It should be interesting as I struggle to stay current with the times as I progress down the "Old-Timers trail".

If this blog gets to boring for you you can always visit our forum for more examples of mindless babbling. Some guys over there are real PROS at it...........

Snow took it's toll... Pheasant hunt re-scheduled

We have had to re-schedule our annual young hunters and disabled sportsmen pheasant hunt. The new date is March 19th. All other times and meeting places will remain the same.. Sorry if this has caused an inconvenience to anyone but there was way too much snow to even attempt to get disabled hunters into the field.

Here is the link to the schedule and meeting times....

Hope to see you there.

Join MWT and MDS at the Missouri Deer Classic

Please make plans to visit MWT (booths 140-41-42) at the 2011 Deer Classic. The event is scheduled for March 5th and 6th and will be held at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Columbia, Mo.

This year will also introduce our new 501(c)(3)sister site, Missouri Disabled Sportsmen. Lots of info on how we help provide opportunities for both young hunters and disabled sportsmen of Missouri.
